The New York Islanders continued their winning ways last night beating the Tampa Bay Lightning 5-2.

It was the first game back for former Isles netminder Nabokov.  Tampa scored first and went into the 1st intermission leading 1-0.

The 2nd period was all Islanders scoring three times, Clutterbuck, Mikhail, and Strome did the damage.

This was the 6th win in there last seven games. With their only loss to Tampa Bay last Saturday.

The team now gets ready for its home and home series versus the Pittsburgh Penguins. The games are Friday and  Saturday.  This will be the real acid test for the Isles.
